1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine

Available Soon!

The 75 series was assembled in Detroit by Fleetwood Body personnel and was available as a formal limousine, or in a nine passenger sedan configuration. A lot of this assembly was custom and by hand. The Fleetwood 75 was always Cadillacs most flashy and elegant model. This 75 is a highly optioned car originally delivered in New York City. The original owner information has not yet been discovered. Perhaps it was a cash deal for the “boss”? The car lived in Puerto Rico for a while, before recently coming back to the states. The car is equipped with a siren and special lighting which appears to be period correct. Maybe this was a government car, or maybe it belonged to someone the government was interested in? One thing is certain, the original owner had power and money.

Riding back to this year, you probably would have heard about the first “microchip” being developed, and the first American satellite launching from Cape Canaveral. US president Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Act into law, creating NASA in 1958. The space race was now in complete effect as world powers flexed their technological superiority and focused on the sky. Back on the ground however, as a result of the Appalachian Conference, the FBI is forced to acknowledge the existence of organized crime, and begins compiling a detailed report on the Mafia, known as, “La Cosa Nostra”. You can imagine members of the mafia as well as the FBI arriving to civil (and maybe not so civil) meetings in a ’58 Fleetwood 75.

What we love about this car:

The mystery of finding the original owner remains a mission for us. The enormity of the car itself, its massive presence and regal style, are first class.
  • This car with its folding auxiliary seats, can seat 5 in the rear.
  • There is front and rear A/C.
  • Because this car is so admired by us, we have focused on doing a complete restoration to exemplify all of the unique characteristics.
